Position: Juab School District Transportation Coordinator
Contract: Full time 254 days, begins July 1, 2019
Benefits & Insurance Salary: negotiable
Juab School District is seeking a highly motivated skilled leader to join our administrative team as district transportation coordinator and assume other duties assigned. The transportation coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the district’s transportation division. The transportation coordinator reports directly to the JSD superintendent.
Job Requirements: • Superior organizational skills • Evidence of successful leadership skills • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills working with the public • Strong presentation skills • Ability to effectively problem solve • Adept at using technology • Must have or willing to obtain CDL • Willing to be on call 24-7 • Transportation personnel: -Hiring/termination -Supervision/scheduling/evaluation/payroll -Driver training, certification, re-certification • State reporting: -Timely state reports -Attend state and regional training conferences • Transportation budget, purchasing, selling, district vehicles -Registration/inspection/insurance -Maintenance/repair -Manage district employee travel and training -Manage fuel expense account -Accident claims -In lieu of accounts • Responsible for scheduling and design of safe bus routes: -Safe bus routes to and from school -Activity and field trips -Space available forms
