Code to Success is a free, summer coding program for 7th-12th grade students that teaches students web and app development. No previous coding experience required! Code to Success offers Coding Foundations that teaches the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The curriculum contains video tutorials, exercises, and projects to guide students through the content. The Coding Foundations course is aligned with the State's CS Strands and Standards, so students can receive high school credit. Students who complete the Coding Foundations course can also earn college credit. The program also offers a REACT course and an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Foundations course.
Code to Success 2021 runs June 14th-July 23rd, Monday-Friday. JuabSD students can participate in the Online option and will have access to online mentor support during the six weeks from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
