We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new coaches in Juab School District. Kandi Dansie has been hired as a district Special Education Instructional Coach and Special Programs Coordinator. Dansie has been a resource teacher at Juab Jr High for the past 25 years. She is a graduate of Utah State University and received her SPED Endorsement from the University of Utah.
Dansie said, "Being involved in education is one of the greatest joys of my life. Knowledge is something that once gained can never be taken away. Empowering others with a love of learning provides them with opportunities to change the world. I have been blessed to learn from many students, and colleagues during my time spent in the classroom. I hope to use that knowledge, my experience, and my love of learning to assist and motivate all those that I have the opportunity to work with."
Jordan Jones has been hired as a district instructional coach; she will be assigned to Mona Elementary for the 2021-2022 school year. Jones has been a teacher at Red Cliffs Elementary and Juab Junior High. She is a graduate of Utah Valley University and Grand Canyon University.
Jones said, “Making a positive difference in the world has always been a passion of mine. It is my hope to inspire those around me and have a positive impact on all of the wonderful teachers and students that I am so fortunate to work with.”
Instructional Coaching is an important part of ensuring that each student in Utah has access to a highly-skilled teacher who can effectively meet their unique needs. Instructional Coaches provide job-embedded learning that benefits all of the teachers within the school and enables administrators to build important school and district goals into practice within each classroom.
