Every student in Juab School District carries a spark of potential and a dream of what they can become. Today, we are proud to announce a new way to fuel those sparks: The Juab Education Foundation.

While the foundation is new, the spirit behind it is as old as Juab itself—the belief that when we invest in our children, we invest in our collective future.

A year ago, we set out to discover how we could better support our classrooms. After learning from successful foundations across Utah, it became clear that our district deserved a dedicated partner to bridge the gap between standard public funding and student needs.

“This isn’t just about a new nonprofit; it’s about a milestone for our community,” says Trenton Olsen, Board President. “We envision a district where every student and educator has the resources they need not just to get by, but to truly thrive.”

As a new nonprofit organization, the foundation will provide a way for community members, businesses, and large corporations to make tax-deductible contributions that directly impact local classrooms. Whether it’s a gift to our general fund or a contribution to a specific teacher’s classroom project, your support stays right here at home.

“I have seen the powerful impact these foundations have across other school districts,” says Superintendent Dr. Kodey Hughes. “This organization will bring tremendous value to our schools, creating opportunities for students that simply wouldn’t be possible otherwise.”

The Foundation aims to bridge funding gaps, provide additional classroom resources, and support innovative programs that may not otherwise be possible through traditional funding streams. By doing so, it will help educators access the tools they need while creating more dynamic and engaging learning environments for students.

At the end of the day, our schools are the heart of our community. The Juab Education Foundation is simply a way for us to take care of our own—supporting teachers who inspire us and the students who represent our future. We are so excited to grow the foundation together, one classroom at a time.

We encourage and invite the community to get involved with the foundation. To learn more, get involved, or make a donation, please visit www.juabeducationfoundation.org/
