
Budget Hearing Notice
The Juab School District Board of Education will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, June 16,2026 at 6:00PM at the Juab School District Office to receive public comment on the revised budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026 and on the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027.
After the public hearing, the Board will consider adoption of the revised budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026, and on the tentative budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027, which will govern the revenues and expenditures of the District.
Copies of the proposed budgets are available with the District Business Administrator for public inspection and on the District website. https://www.juabsd.org/

Kyle brings six years of administrative experience to Juab Jr. High, following 10 years of teaching in both special education and general financial literacy. He is a student-centered administrator who is passionate about helping students learn, grow, and achieve great things. He also spent 16 years coaching basketball.
Kyle and his wife, Carlene, recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary and are the proud parents of four children—three girls and one boy—ranging in age from 14 to 21.
Kyle and his family enjoy sports, especially basketball, golf, and volleyball. He is also an avid BYU football fan. Their family loves traveling and spending time outdoors, including hiking and snorkeling.
Kyle is excited to join Juab Jr. High and is looking forward to getting to know students, staff, families, and the school community. We are thrilled to welcome Kyle and his family to Juab!

Entering his 6th year of teaching, Brock brings experience in physics and biology along with a passion for hands-on, engaging learning. He is dedicated to creating a classroom where students feel supported and confident.
In addition to teaching, Brock has coached basketball for several years, emphasizing teamwork, perseverance, and strong relationships. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and values being part of a positive school community.
We’re excited to have you at JJHS, Brock!

Jenny Gempeler is a dedicated school counselor with over 10 years of combined school and clinical counseling experience. She holds master’s degrees in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is passionate about supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
Outside of school, Mrs. Gempeler enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys. She especially loves cheering them on and watching them participate in Juab athletics, and values being actively involved in her family and community.
We’re lucky to have her as part of our JJHS family! ❤️👏

Welcome to JJHS, Isaac Lainhart! 🎉
We are so excited to welcome Isaac back home to Juab! A Nephi native and Juab High graduate, Isaac recently earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from BYU and has been substitute teaching across the district. He has a passion for helping students learn and believes math plays a key role in building strong critical thinking skills.
As a former JJHS student himself, Isaac is especially excited to return and give back to the school and community that helped shape him. ❤️
During his time in high school, Isaac was involved in choir, student government, and cheer/stunt. At BYU, he participated in Men’s Chorus and served as an administrator for the BYU Minecraft Club. He also served a mission in Lima, Peru, where he learned Spanish!
In his free time, Isaac enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and playing pickleball.
